Based in central Auckland, we work on projects across New Zealand, specialising in new homes, thoughtful renovations, and distinctive commercial spaces. Every project is an opportunity to create something meaningful, lasting, and uniquely yours.

Kate Beilby Director /Registered Architect

Kate is a Registered Architect with over 20 years of experience, working on projects both in New Zealand and overseas. Before founding Milieu in 2016, she contributed to a wide range of projects — from residential and medical buildings to civil developments — at leading architectural practices.

Having also completed her own new house and two renovations, Kate understands firsthand the joys and challenges of building a home. This experience gives her a unique perspective and empathy for clients, helping guide them confidently through the process of creating their dream space.
