Milieu Architecture + Design is an Auckland-based practice working across residential, renovation, and small-scale commercial projects throughout New Zealand. We work closely with a well-established network of consultants, builders, and suppliers, enabling a coordinated and considered design process from early concept through to construction.

Milieu is led by Kate Beilby, an architect with over 20 years’ experience working across a wide range of residential and commercial projects. Kate brings a calm, methodical approach to design, with a strong focus on clear communication, problem-solving, and well-resolved outcomes.
Her professional experience, combined with a practical understanding of construction and project delivery, supports a design process that is both creative and grounded — resulting in spaces that are functional, enduring, and carefully tailored to each client and site.
